Cantona was one of the largest cities in Meso-America in the period from 600 to 1000. It has over 25 ball courts and actual streets and bases of living quarters, rare in archaeological sites. The Hacienda Soltepec near Huamantla has an excellent dining room. Huejotzingo (near Puebla) has one of the major carnivals in central Mexico--lots of celebration and noise.
